UEFA and the Local Organizing Committee aim to execute a perfect European Football Championship in Hungary, which will be supported by a 1000 of volunteers. Because of the 60th anniversary of EURO, next year will take place the biggest EURO ever in football history, organized in 12 different countries and creating a festival throughout whole Europe. Our volunteers will have the unique opportunity to see and experience the organization and execution of such a mega sport event here in Budapest in June 2020.

Join us if you are...

  • proficient in English,
  • over 18 years of age by 1 May 2020,
  • available minimum on each matchday at your venue (In Budapest: 2020.06.16, 06.20, 06.24, 06.28.).

If you are selected, you will support the delivery of the event's wide-ranging projects, including accreditation, ceremonies, logistics, media, ticketing, match operations and spectator services. Some areas will be very specific which can come handy for your professional experience such as legal services, IT services, marketing or social work. Find out more on the area descriptions here:

Your volunteering may be accepted as an internship at the university, but make sure you check with your department first.

The objective of the UEFA EURO 2020 volunteer program is to integrate and gather the population across Europe, as well as creating a legacy for the host countries. Furthermore, it is UEFA's ambition to ensure individuals enjoy an unforgettable experience that encourages others to volunteer for European football events in future.
