University Sports at the University of Pécs in the Blue Zone! – Thursday Dance Workout at the Szalay Dormitory

Dance Workout is a dance-based fitness class where we move to well-known, upbeat songs while performing cardio and bodyweight strengthening exercises. It is fun, energetic, and easy to follow, making it ideal for beginners. The choreographies vary in style, with the focus on the joy of movement, self-expression, and physical and mental recharge.

The class helps improve endurance, shape the body, and reduce stress, while also boosting self-confidence. Sessions are open to all students and staff of the University of Pécs, and you can join at any time—no prior dance or sports experience is required, just workout clothes and a bottle of water.

Each session requires separate registration, so anyone can join if the weekly time suits them. The class is free of charge, but participation is limited to 20 people, with a waiting list available. Sessions take place every Thursday.

Registration for each session is available via the links below (after logging in). If you know in advance that you cannot attend, please cancel your registration in time so that those on the waiting list can join. Registration always opens on the Friday before the event at 8:00 AM.
