Arm Wrestling Training at Professors Gym

Curious what a real arm wrestling training session is like?
Have you tried it with friends but always got beaten, or have you never tried arm wrestling before?

Come and join a training session of the Pécs University teams!

Location: Professors Gym – Arm Wrestling Room
Time: Every Thursday in April, from 6:00 PM

What can you expect?

• Interactive demonstration during training
• Opportunity to try it yourself as a beginner
• Learn the basics and techniques of arm wrestling
• Get insight into how a training session is structured

Who is it for?
All students – complete beginners are welcome!

Participation is free, but it only includes access to the arm wrestling room.
Indoor shoes are required!

Participation requires registration! Registration is available by clicking on the event date and opens every Friday at 8:00 AM prior to the event.

University Sports of Pécs in the Blue Zone! – Friday Circuit Training Club 33

The goal of circuit training is to provide university citizens with regular, varied, and intensive exercise opportunities during both the academic term and the exam period. The program aims to develop physical endurance and muscular strength, while its community-building and stress-relieving effects contribute to the physical and mental well-being of the university community. During circuit training, participants move through different stations, performing timed exercises that combine strength and endurance elements.

Each session requires separate registration, so anyone can join if the scheduled time works for them. The class is free of charge, but participation is limited: we can host up to 15 people, and a waiting list is also available. Sessions are held on Fridays.

The purpose of the classes is to provide members of the University of Pécs community with regular posture-improving, muscle-strengthening, and stress-relieving exercise sessions, even during the academic term and exam period. The program focuses on strengthening the deep muscles and developing body awareness, promoting both physical and mental well-being.

Each session requires separate registration, so anyone can join if the scheduled time works for them. The class is free of charge, but participation is limited: we can host up to 15 people, and a waiting list is also available. Sessions are held on Thursdays.

Az órák célja, hogy a Pécsi Tudományegyetem polgárai számára rendszeres, testtartást javító, izomerősítő és stresszoldó mozgásformát biztosítson a tanulmányi és vizsgaidőszak alatt is. A program a mélyizmok erősítésére és a testtudat fejlesztésére épül, elősegítve a fizikai és mentális jóllétet.

Az alkalmak minden esetben külön regisztrációhoz kötöttek, így bárki csatlakozhat, akinek megfelel az adott heti időpont. Az óra ingyenes, a részvétel azonban limitált: 15 főt tudunk fogadni, és várólista is rendelkezésre áll. Az alkalmakra csütörtökönként kerül sor. 

A regisztráció minden alkalomra a lenti linkeken érhető el (belépés után). Kérjük, ha valaki előre tudja, hogy mégsem tud részt venni, időben mondja le a jelentkezést, hogy a várólistásoknak is legyen lehetősége csatlakozni. A regisztráció mindig az eseményt megelőző pénteken, reggel 8 órakor kezdődik.

The aim of the classes is to provide university citizens with regular, health-promoting exercise opportunities, particularly to prevent and alleviate complaints resulting from poor posture and a sedentary lifestyle.

Each session requires separate registration, allowing anyone to join who is available at the given weekly time. The class is free of charge, but participation is limited: we can accommodate up to 15 people, and a waiting list is also available. The sessions take place on Thursdays.

University Sports of Pécs in the Blue Zone! – Thursday morning pilates at New Pilates Studio

The classes at New Pilates by AD Pécs are based on the principles of classical Pilates, approached with a modern, dynamic perspective. During the sessions, we focus on strengthening the deep muscles, developing body awareness, and promoting harmonious movement. You can join us for both mat and equipment Pilates classes (reformer, ladder chair, and tower), making the workouts varied and effective. The goal is not only to strengthen and shape the body but also to develop proper movement patterns, helping your body become stronger, more stable, and better balanced in everyday life.

Each session requires separate registration, so anyone can join if the scheduled time works for them. The class is free of charge, but participation is limited: we can host up to 6 people, and a waiting list is also available. Sessions are held on Thursday.

Pécsi Egyetemi Sport a Kék Zónában! – Csütörtök reggeli pilates a New Pilates stúdióban

A New Pilates by AD Pécs órái a klasszikus Pilates alapelveire épülnek, modern, dinamikus szemlélettel. Az edzések során a mélyizmok erősítésére, a testtudat fejlesztésére és a harmonikus mozgásra fókuszálunk. Találkozhattok nálunk talaj és gépi pilates (reformer, ladder chair és tower) órákkal, így tesszük változatossá és hatékonnyá az edzéseket. A cél nemcsak az erősítés és formálás, hanem a helyes mozgásminták kialakítása, hogy a test erősebbé, stabilabbá és kiegyensúlyozottabbá váljon a mindennapokban is.

Az alkalmak minden esetben külön regisztrációhoz kötöttek, így bárki csatlakozhat, akinek megfelel az adott heti időpont. Az óra ingyenes, a részvétel azonban limitált: 6 főt tudunk fogadni, és várólista is rendelkezésre áll. Az alkalmakra csütörtökönként kerül sor.
