PTE Billiards Club

Also in 2026, the PTE Billiards Club will be established, open to all students and staff who are looking to relax, improve their skills, and enjoy playing as part of a community.

We welcome everyone to the Club who:

• previously played billiards at a competitive level
• would like to develop their billiards skills with the help of coaches
• enjoys playing billiards in a relaxed, informal environment

During the spring semester of 2026, the University of Pécs will provide free 2-hour billiards sessions on 5 tables on 10 occasions for PTE students and staff members alike. The sessions will be led by László János, Hungarian national champion player, member of the Pécs NB I team, and billiards coach.

During the sessions, coaching and free play will take place simultaneously. Each registered participant may decide whether they would like to improve their technical skills with the help of a coach or play matches freely with friends and other participants.

• Schedule: Tuesdays, 4:00–6:00 PM
• Location: Club 68.
• Registration: Participation requires prior online registration, which will be available from February 11 within the event by clicking on the specific date (below).
• The first 20 registered participants will be accepted.
• Participation in the events is FREE OF CHARGE
