Changes to the PTE Blue Zone

Dear University Community Member,

Over the past period, we have experienced exceptionally high interest in the early-evening PTE Blue Zone sessions. This is clearly reflected not only in the number of registrations but also in the long waiting lists. We would like as many members of the university community as possible to have the opportunity to try these free sessions during the most popular time slots. Therefore, we are introducing a new “peak-time” registration system for programmes taking place between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. The new system will be introduced starting October 12.

How will registration change?

Between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., you can directly and freely book a place at one session per week.

If you would like to register for a second early-evening session in the same week, you can of course still do so; however, your second and any subsequent bookings will automatically be placed on the waiting list. If the session becomes fully booked but a place becomes available later, the system will automatically invite people from the waiting list in the order in which they registered.

What about the other time slots?

Sessions taking place between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. can still be booked freely, regardless of whether you already have an early-evening booking or are on a waiting list.

For example, if you have a booking for Monday at 6:30 p.m., you can still freely register for another Blue Zone session on Tuesday morning or Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.

Which sessions are considered early-evening peak-time sessions?

The new rule applies to the following sessions taking place between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.:
