UP Darts Cup 2024

On October 13th, the PTE Sports Office, in collaboration with the Mesterhármas Darts Club, is organizing a joint darts competition for university citizens for the second time. The main organizers invite students and staff of the institution to a collective steel challenge at the Szalay Dormitory (5:00 PM), in both beginner and advanced categories, as well as individual and doubles events.

DETAILS:

Date: October 13, Friday, 5:00 PM

Location: Szalay Dormitory - Mesterhármas Darts Room

Competition type: Individual and doubles steel darts competition.

Participants: PTE students, staff. We can accept the first 32 individual participants and the first 16 pairs in each category.

Categories:

• Beginner (301 single checkout).
• Advanced (501 double checkout).

You can only register in one category, but "singles" and "doubles" participation is allowed within that. In the case of doubles, only one team member needs to register! (During online registration, please indicate the name of your teammate.)

Prizes: Trophy and medal for the top 3 participants in each category and event!

Equipment: We can provide arrows in limited quantities, but during registration, we ask every player to specify whether they want to participate with their own arrow.

Format: Group matches + single-elimination system if advancing from the group stage. The necessary equipment for the competition will be provided by the Mesterhármas Darts Club.
