UP 3x3 Basketball Cup 2023/24/1

On December 9, the UP 3x3 basketball cup organized by the Sports Office and the Baranya County Basketball Association will take place in the PTE ÁOK sports hall. The tournament also serves as a round of the unique Baranya 3x3 basketball championship initiated by BMKSZ, complemented by the well-established tradition of the UP 3x3 basketball cup.

Competition rules (briefly):

• The regular playing time for a match is once 10 minutes with a running clock.
• However, the team that scores 21 or more points before the end of regular playing time wins the match. This rule only applies to regular playing time (not including possible overtimes). If the score is tied at the end of regular playing time, overtime follows. A 1-minute break must be observed before overtime. The team that first scores 2 points in overtime wins.

Registration:

• Registration for the university category is free but requires prior registration, which can be completed after  LOGIN  at the bottom of the hungarian page.
• The county championship category is organized on an invitation basis.
• Registration deadline: December 8 (12:00), 2023

Categories:

• 08.00 - 11.15 Men's county championship (11 teams, by invitation)
• 11.30 - 14.00 Wonen's county championship (5 teams, by invitation)
• 11.30 - 14.00 University cup (5 teams, registration-based)

Prizes:

In the university category, the top three will receive medals and trophies. Separate awards in each category for the best player (MVP) and the highest-scoring player.
